Our collaboration with SiteVisibility involved working with TUI (formerly Thomson) in creating an innovative interactive infographic for the highly anticipated release of their new Dreamliner 787 aircraft. The infographic takes users on a captivating journey to explore the evolution and heritage of aviation, leading up to the unveiling of the brand-new plane.
The objective of the project was to generate interest in Thomson's highly anticipated fleet
of Dreamliner planes by designing an HTML5 infographic that showcased aviation history, culminating in the unveiling of the new plane. The client wanted a design that merged old and new in a dynamic and shareable way.
Illustration / Frontend Development / Digital Prototype
We created wireframes and storyboards using Thomson's brand colours and identity, working closely with the developer to lead the infographic's art direction. We also designed animated icons to highlight points of interest on the moving timeline of planes.
TUI's interactive Infographic was released to coincide with the very first Dreamliner flight. Shared across multiple platforms and devices, the end result achieved Thomson’s aims of improving their visibility with this iconic plane.
